Now that you have a properly partitioned SD card, insert it back into your Android device and boot up the device. There is a paid version of the app, but the free version will suffice for this procedure.

That should reset the app. Once your device has rebooted, open Link2SD again. You should not see any dialog box display. Instead, you should see a list of apps and some options on the top of the app screen. Rudy Toth. The reason why you can't download anything from a play store directly into the SD card is because if you get in there, it is very hard to remove it later. Most likely all apps will only download to your device's HD and not to a SD card. This applies to music files also.

MY SD card has been formatted, still cannot download apps from Playstore there. The primary problem is once you download apps into a SD card is that you later can't remove them.
